This is the time of year that SUBA organizes the St George, Utah Parade of Homes in February. It's like Christmas time all over again for Builders, Real Estate Agents, Homebuyers, and Home Builders. This year it runs from February 18th - 27th. You can get the list of homes and purchase tickets online or at the Red Cliffs Mall in St. George.
What to Expect
This is prime season in Southern Utah and a lot of snow birds come and occupy all the available RV spots. Our area is brimming with people, so expect weekends to be very busy. If you can manage, plan to visit the Parade of Homes during the week.
How to Prepare
Wear comfortable shoes. Keep your ticket on a lanyard for easy access to and from the Parade of Homes. Bring a notebook and pen to take notes. The weather is usually in the 60's - 70's and sunny.
Strategy
I'm sure you will want to visit to spectacular multi-million dollar homes but be sure to check out the mid and lower range homes to really get a feel for the different communities and builders in Southern Utah. The St George Area Parade of Homes is not exclusive to just St. George, UT. It also spans the smaller towns around St. George. There is usually one in Toquerville, Hurricane, Santa Clara, Ivins and several in Washington City. These are great outlying communities within easy drive to St George, Utah.
